Texas JDC Diving Inc. (JDCD) provides safe and reliable underwater
cutting and welding services to the oil and gas and inland marine
decommissioning - construction sectors. JDCD offers a range of
underwater cutting technologies including the Broco®
Ultra thermic Cutting System for underwater burning and various
underwater hydraulic tools for cold cutting including Broco’s
multiuse cutting tool, the Brocuda®. JDCD offers underwater
welding using both air and mixed gas diving primarily with SMAW
(Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux Cored Metal Arc Welding).
JDCD is dedicated to safety and our experienced dive teams work
with our clients to plan and perform underwater cutting and
welding projects to improve safety performance.

Texas JDC Diving Inc(JDCD) specializes in online cooling
tower inspections and cleaning using surface supplied
HAZMAT divers and ROVs. Traditional maintenance
methods usually involve costly shutdowns, manpower,
vacuum trucks and expensive disposal of hazardous
material. Diving the tower is an innovative and cost
saving solution to these problems and it keeps your
cooling tower online. Using a vacuum separation system,
a diver can clean a tower basin, conduct visual or video
inspections, and make repairs in less time — and at far
less expense than with any other method. Our
experienced dive teams and project managers work
with our clients to review MFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and water
chemistry to develop the most cost effective and safe
inspection/cleaning program for your cooling tower.
JDCD project managers are experienced commercial/
military divers with 25+ years of diving and environmental
remediation experience.
Services:
• JDCD divers and project managers are all HAZMAT
and confined space entry and rescue trained
• Primarily for large cross flow cooling towers and
industrial cross flow cooling towers
• Sediment mapping, sonar imaging, inspection and
sediment sampling
• Surface supplied diving online inspections and
cleaning (sediments and debris) based on inspection
and planning objectives
• Cooling tower inspection and cleaning plans
(project and corporate)
Waste management project plans
Waste characterization sampling and analysis
Transportation and disposal of sludge, sediments
and debris (i.e., timbers, corrugated asbestos or
PVC panels, tools)
• Underwater video and photography of inspection
and cleaning
• Technical inspection and cleaning reports
Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) are essential facilities that process and
treat contaminated water before releasing it back into the environment. The intricate
structures and submerged equipment in WWTPs require regular inspection, maintenance,
and repairs, tasks ideally suited for commercial diving services. Tasks encompass
everything from inspecting submerged infrastructure to repairing damaged equipment
and installing new components.
Texas JDC Diving Inc. our divers, project managers and professional engineers have the experience and
understanding needed to successfully plan and perform underwater inspection and remedial
construction projects in WWTPs.
Services:
Texas JDC Diving Inc. uses the latest imaging, cleaning and tooling technologies to deliver safe, cost-effective
WWTP inspections and remediation services. Our dive teams work with our clients to develop
efficient inspection and corrective action plans that increase safety performance, minimize
downtime and meet client objectives.
Our dive teams reliably deliver project-critical services including
• Routine inspections of underwater structures (clarifiers, aeration tanks, pipelines)
• Cleaning to remove debris, sediment and biofilms from equipment (screens, intakes,
submerged machinery)
• Maintenance (replacing valves, repairing cracks, welding components in submerged sections)
• Nondestructive testing (NDT) (ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle inspection)
• Diver and mechanical dredging
• Surface impoundment dredging, excavation and materials reduction (belt press and centrifuges)
UWILD inspections are an accepted and often favorable
alternative to dry-docking inspection surveys. JDCD is a
general member of ADCI and an approved DNV and ABS
In Water Survey Provider (IWS). Our UWILD dive teams
are experienced with all ship types and mobile offshore
drilling units (MODU) such as jack ups, semi-submersibles,
and drill ships. JDCD uses the latest imaging, cleaning and
tooling technologies to deliver safe, cost-effective subsea
inspections. Our inspection teams work with our clients
to develop efficient inspection plans that increase safety
performance, minimize downtime and meet inspection
objectives. We help you manage the entire UWILD and
inspection process, from planning and execution to the
final report.
